Ministry of Commerce Thailand Invites International Media to Discover T Mark

The Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce organized an activity to promote Thailand Trust Mark or T Mark in global markets with the T Mark Exclusive Experience on September 5, 2017 by inviting international media from the US, Europe and Asia to Thailand. The media experienced first-hand the quality of Thai products and services awarded the T Mark which was established to strengthen and promote Thai products and services with trusted quality in every dimension from the highest standard of production, fair labor, giving consideration to environmental concerns and social responsibility with the most important factor as the “Heartmade Quality”. 

T Mark brands that participated in this program included Blue Spice, manufacturer of Thai curry paste and food products, one of the brands under Blue Elephant, the famous Thai restaurant hailed the “Taste of Thailand” from worldwide media. Chef Nooror Somany Steppe, founder of the brand delivered a cooking show with ingredients made from Blue Spice products which are now sold in leading department stores in 32 countries.

Thann-Oryza, manufacturer of natural skincare and spa products under the THANN brand, led by founder Thitipat Supapatranont who also gave a talk to the media about THANN’s philosophy in using environmentally-friendly packaging, respecting labor laws and not using animals to conduct tests, all of which are important factors in receiving T Mark. THANN now exports to 14 countries worldwide and supplies products from different industries from the aviation industry to the hospitality services industry.
